By Car:

From Madrid: Take the R2 north east to Zaragoza. From Zaragoza follow signs to Huesca. From Huesca follow directions to Sabiñanigo and then to Biescas. From Biescas continue along the main road past the Búbal reservoir, through Escarilla, past the Lanuza reservoir and the turnoff for Sallent de Gállego and into Formigal.

From France via Pau: Follow signs to Spain and Formigal via the "Portalet" pass. NOTE: If the weather is bad and the pass is closed for snow, the alternative is to head around further west to the Somport pass and tunnel leading out via the resort of Candanchu down to Jaca. From Jaca, follow signs to Sabiñanigo and then Biescas. Continue directions as indicated from Madrid at this point.
